2013-04-12: Impossible Electrical tender

This week has seen the publication of a tender that no one will be able to go for: Naledi Local Municipality published a tender in the Wednesday 10 April issue of the Stellalander with a compulsory briefing at 10am on Wednesday 10 April. This was quite a substantial tender (CIDB grading 4EB or higher) for the supply, delivery & installation of a 33/22kV 5MVA electrical substation transformer in Vryburg. We urge aggrieved electrical companies to take up the matter directly with Naledi Municipality: the contact person is Mlulami Ncobo tel 053-9282252.

Welcome to the Tenderscan Website Tour

Tenderscan scans the media for new tender notices so that you don't have to. We source tenders from over 100 publications for inclusion in our live tender database.

Subscribers get access to the tenders through our website, and they are notified by email and sms when tenders are added in their field.

Searchability

Tenderscan not only scans an image of each orginal tender notice, we also categorise each tender by field of expertise and locality, and capture the tender information so that subscribers can search by keyword.

We have also created a dedicated database of calls for registration and, to give visitors a clear idea of what we offer, we have given free access to all expired tender notices.

Search Results

Our search results are presented in a summary view, and ordered by how recently they were added to our database

Site users click on the title to view the tender information - but only those logged in with an active account will be given access.

Tender Display

Tender records display the captured information, with a link to view the original scanned image, plus useful shortcut buttons to bookmark, save, print or email the tender notice.

Network of Members

To promote collaboration amongst our subscribers we implemented a network facility. Subscribers can create company and individual profiles for inclusion on the network, as well as search the network for other companies with whom they may wish to collaborate.

Analysis

Tenderscan provides critical information, in-depth analysis, and news updates on tender-related issues. Our procurement policy section gives a run-down of procurement-related policy and legislation in Southern Africa, while our monthly newsletter casts a critical eye over developments in BBBEE and other areas.

Registration

Tenderscan subscription fees start from only R700 and we facilitate a variety of payment methods. To subscribe you need to fill out the online registration form, choose the length of subscription you wish to purchase and make payment using one of the approved methods.
